Rosa Feraco
March 10, 1935 - April 11, 2016
Rosa Feraco (nee Lucia), a long time resident of Mississauga, passed away on Monday April 11, 2016 at 1:30 a.m. at Camilla Care Community in Mississauga at the age of 81. Rosa was born in Catanzaro, Italy. She later moved to Southern France before coming to Canada where she met and married the love of her life Emilio. Rosa was a seamstress by trade and was very passionate about her craft. Rosa, along with her husband belonged to several Italian Clubs where they enjoyed playing bingo, bocce and going on excursions with the many friends they have made over the years.
Rosa is survived by her beloved husband Emilio of 49 years. She was a loving mother to her son Mike (Elizabeth) and daughter Francesca (John). Devoted and cherished nonna to Julia and Alexander. Dear sister of the late Agostino (the late Maria), John (Jeanne), Angelo (Maria), the late Antonio (Patricia) and Giuseppe (the late Eleanor). Sister-in-law to Antonio (the late Giovannina), Eugenia (the late Emilio), the late Francesco (Teresa), Elena (the late Salvatore) and Paolo (Maria). She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, the United States, France, Italy and England. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
