Natasha Headley
November 3, 1996 - July 6, 2015
In January 2013 our family entered the world of beating cancer. We pulled together and worked to make it a part of our everyday lives. Visits and overnights to the hospital became our norm. Christmas that year was special as we thought we had “kicked cancer to the curb” as our Miss Natasha would say. Unfortunately cancer had other ideas and in May of 2014 we were back in the ring! What I would like everyone to know is that Natasha knew she was terminal from the fall of 2014. This knowledge didn’t stop her from making the most of the time she had left with us. Even when she was told there was only one Chemo she hadn’t tried but there was a 10% chance of it working she still wanted to try. We were at Princess Margaret getting ready for this chemo when an x-ray showed the disease had progressed to the point we had to be hospitalized. Still Natasha spent her last week taking care of all those who visited. Making sure we all had memories to help us in our grief. We all can learn a great deal from this young lady about how to live life to the fullest and help others. May you continue your extraordinary ability of caring for animals in heaven. Natasha you are a precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, aunt and friend and we thank you.
