Maria Rodrigues
November 10, 1956 - June 29, 2016
It is with a heavy and broken heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife and friend Maria Fernanda Rodrigues.
She was a soul who enjoyed life to the fullest, always inviting with her beautiful smile and her witty jokes. She was a strong person who fought her battle with Cancer till the very end. She was my mother and my best friend; she was a loving wife, sister and a caring friend. This year has truly been the year where we have lost our bravest, brightest and kindest souls; she was revered, and her words of wisdom will guide me till the day we meet again. We may have lost her physically but she will always be walking along with us on all of our travels and adventures. I will know that when I look up at the stars, she is watching over us with her guiding light, and I am pretty sure she will even make the North Star jealous smile emoticon:) I love her and miss her dearly. My heart aches today and every day forward, for a crack has been created that will never be repaired. In this unjust, cruel and unperfect world, she fit into mine perfectly.
We will be celebrating her life at Glen Oaks Funeral Home on Ninth line in Oakville on July 1st between the hours of 2-4pm and 6-8pm, and the funeral will take place on July 2 at 2pm. We invite everyone to come, share their stories and a good joke for she dearly loved to laugh. In lieu of flowers we ask that you kindly make a donation to the Ian Anderson House https://www.canadahelps.org/dn/8416. It was a place where she enjoyed her last few days at peace and surrounded by loved ones.
Please take a moment to sign the guestbook.
