Passed away at home with family by her side on Monday, September 2, 2013 in Acton at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Vinko (1999). Loving mother of Kathy Cavlovic-Sporcic and husband Andy. Predeceased by her daughter Ann Tomas (Peter). Cherished "Baka" to Richard Tomas (Sandra), Katherine McKnight (Jason); Andrew, Anica and Elizabeth Sporcic. Proud great grandmother of Cara Lily-Ann. Predeceased by her brother Mijo (predeceased Ljubica). Ljuba loved her vegetable garden and cooking for her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her extended family, friends and neighbours. Visitation to be held at Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel & Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (Dundas/403) in Oakville on Thursday, September 5th from 12-2 pm and 6-9 pm. (Rosary 8 pm). A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, September 6th at Holy Trinity Parish, 2110 Trafalgar Rd., Oakville at 10 am. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Milton with reception to follow at Holy Trinity Church Croatian Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Zupa Novi Grad na Dobri, a parish in Croatia. Envelopes will be provided by the funeral home.
