Lillian Ella Lorraine Walker passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, June 17th at 11:04 pm after a short battle with cancer. In her final hours she was surrounded by her loving extended family.

Lillian was born on January 11, 1942 in Burnside, Newfoundland. As a teen she moved to St. John's, Newfoundland where she met and married the love of her life, Bruce Walker, with whom she had two children. The beautiful woman in the red coat and her young family relocated to Toronto, Ontario in 1966 and then Mississauga, Ontario in 1971. Over the next 45 years Lillian raised her children, managed a successful banking career and spent countless hours volunteering for the Peel Children Centre and the Eden Food Bank. In her later years she enjoyed spoiling her five grandchildren and indulged her travel bug with Caribbean cruises, European tours and many trips to visit family in New Brunswick and Newfoundland.

Lillian is predeceased by her father, William Hunter. She is survived by her husband Gordon Eugene Bruce Walker; her mother Ida Hunter; her children Lesley (Dennis) and Randy (Christina)|; her grandchildren Tylor, Brittany, Nicholas, Marina and Athena; and her siblings Wilson (Marilyn), Irene (Tom), Elva, Henry (Dodie), Dennis, Cindy, Toni, Michelle, Todd and her half-brother Alwyn (Doris).

Go with peace and love our Little Duckie.
