<div itemprop="description">Passed away peacefully on Sunday May 1, 2016 in hospital at the grand age of 90. Loving and devoted husband of Ginger for 55 years. Cherished father of the late Randy (Kim), Kym (Toby), Janice (Alan), Michelle, and Sue-Anne (Greg). Adored grandfather of Joshua, Blake, Meghan, Matthew, Mitchell, Carter and Julianne. Dear brother of Edward (the late Muriel) and the late George (Pauline). He will be deeply missed by his extended family, long time neighbours and friends. Karl had a distinguished career of 48 years with the Canadian Pacific Railway, retiring as the Director of Maintenance of Way. <br /> <br />The family will receive friends for a visitation and celebration of life at the GLEN OAKS FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville on Thursday May 5, from 6-9 pm. There will be a moment of reflection, words and a toast at 7 pm. A private service and burial will take place the following day. If desired, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. <br /> <br />We will treasure our memories, honour your family legacy and forever hold you in our hearts.</div>
