Beautiful, loving daughter and dearly loved by all who knew her, gifted artist, musician, photographer and animal lover, Kara passed away on Thursday, September 19th. Kara is survived by her parents, Kristi Vilmansen and Larry Shred, brothers Michael and Darren Shred, step-mother Tiia, aunts, uncles and cousins. Kara graduated from the York University honours design program and worked as a graphic artist and photographer. Kara loved music and devoted many hours enjoying her guitars and piano . She expressed her incredible creativity through her art, photography, and creative writing. As an aspiring chef, she loved to cook for family and friends. Her radiant smile, warmth, and endearing personality will be forever cherished and missed by everyone who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, September 26 at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville, Ontario with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. and service at 1:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Mississauga Humane Society.
