<div itemprop="description">John Royal Williams <br /> August 7, 1926 &ndash; January 21, 2016 <br /> <br /> <br />Of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away peacefully, secure in the Love of his Lord and Saviour <br />Jesus Christ, at Trillium Health Centre on Thursday, January 21, 2016. <br />Born August 7, 1926 in Hamilton, Ontario, John (Jack) was the son of the late Henry Royal and Ethyl Williams. John is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Patricia Ann Williams; a daughter and son, Deborah and her husband Mark Coombs of Mississauga ON, Craig and his wife Helen Williams of Barrie ON; four grandchildren, Krystyn &amp; husband Matthew Harrison, Geoffrey Coombs, Janna &amp; Elise (Elle) Williams; three sisters, Marnie &amp; the late Arthur Gee of Barrie ON, Elizabeth (Betty) &amp; the late Warren Hyland of Ottawa ON and the late Mary &amp; the late J. Allister Weir of Mississauga ON. In addition, John leaves Patricia&rsquo;s side of the family; Ruth and Ralph Glover, Jean &amp; the late Jack Clough, John &amp; the late Pearl Melnick, Norma Parker, Audrey &amp; Don Leggat, Lloyd &amp; Pearl Smith, and Vicky &amp; Wayne Quilitz. John was also blessed with many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. <br />John was a graduate of the class of &rsquo;49, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. He practiced in Hamilton, Ontario from &lsquo;49 to &lsquo;71 and in Mississauga from &lsquo;74 to &lsquo;82. Upon retirement, John spent time with Patricia divided between the family cottage on Portage Lake in Muskoka, homes in Mississauga, winter months in Florida, where he and Pat enjoyed time with friends, family and church activities and motor home trips across North America. <br />John was a skilled craftsman, having built much of the family cottage on his own as well as renovating several homes with Pat, his faithful helper by his side. <br />In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Meeting House, www.meetinghouse.com.</div>
