<div itemprop="description">Kempster, Frederick John <br />March 30, 1930 to January 11, 2016 <br /> <br />Queen&rsquo;s Engineering / Science 1953 <br />Bell Employee for 39 Years <br /> <br />Fred&rsquo;s family regrets to inform his family and friends of his death on Monday January 11, 2016 after a heroic struggle following three major surgeries. <br /> <br />Fred was the treasured husband of Sandy Turner (nee Smith) and the late Shirley Kempster (deceased 2000). <br /> <br />Fred was immensely proud of his sons Dave and Gord, their partners Julie and Sue. <br /> <br />He also became very fond of Sandy&rsquo;s family &ndash; Steve, Dee, Dave and Janet, and &ldquo;his&rdquo; four grandsons - Daniel, Brady, Ryan and Colby. <br /> <br />The family would be pleased if donations were made to: Heart House Hospice Building Fund, 1-855 Matheson Blvd. E, Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 4L6. <br /> <br />A celebration of Fred&rsquo;s life will be held in at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. <br /></div>
