Fred Wilson
October 12, 1927 - December 12, 2014
Wilson, Fred
Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on December 12, 2014 at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of June for 63 wonderful years. Cherished Dad of Lorie Jenkin (Don) and Carole. "Papa Fred" to the Jenkin boys: Taylor (Cathrine), Carson, and Spencer (girlfriend Samantha). Devoted brother of Margaret Bridges of Calgary.
Fred was passionate about cars and worked at Ford for 35 years until he retired in 1992. He started his second career, selling cars at Oakland Ford Lincoln, in Oakville, for the next 20 years. When he finally retired, he continued to sell cars to friends and family from the comfort of his home.
Fred was also a respected member of the community and long term member of the Civitan Club of Oakville, participating in numerous charitable events over the course of his life. He was deeply loved by friends and family and touched many people through his kind deeds and warm heart.
A special thank you to Dr. Sayal, Dr. Kovacs and the staff at OTMH for their care and compassion. Also to the Griffin Allen and the staff of Northridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association of Canada or the Oakville Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
