Unexpectedly passed away on April 28, 2016 in Mississauga, Ontario. Loving husband to the late Alicja (&#379;O&#321;&#260;D&#377;) (n&eacute;e Witting) and beloved father to Margaret Ma&#322;gorzata (n&eacute;e &#379;O&#321;&#260;D&#377;) FAZIO and father-in-law to Xavier and cherished grandfather to Nicholas and Isabel. Born February 4th 1944 in Tarnow, Poland; he attended Politechnika Wroc&#322;awska. After immigrating to Canada in 1981 with his family, he worked many years for the City of Toronto Municipal Licensing Commission. He was an outstanding chess player, an omnivorous reader, and a devoted pragmatist in all facets of life. He lives on in audio, photographs and fond memories. Most of all we will remember his sharp wit, the stories he told, and the way he compelled us to feel &ldquo;stunned and flabbergasted&rdquo; by the beauty of life. Po imigracji do Kanady w 1981 roku z rodzin&#261;, pracowia&#322; przez wiele lat w City of Toronto Metro Licensing Commission. By&#322; wspania&#322;ym szachist&#261;, wielotematowym czytelnikiem, podr&oacute;&#380;nikiem i pragmatyst&#261; w ka&#380;dej dziedzinie &#380;ycia. B&#281;dzie &#380;y&#263; w wielu naszych sercach i nagraniach audio, wideo i zdj&#281;ciach.
