<div itemprop="description">With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Alice, born as Olxandra, Ethelbert Manitoba on May 28, 1924. She was the middle child of Michael and Kaska (Komarnicki), in 1939, her family moved to Ontario. She worked at the Royal York Hotel and then later along-side her husband, and then on her own in the jewellery business, she fearlessly tackled life. Predeceased by her husband Michael Kurmey, daughter Dianne Lewis, son-in-law Donald Lewis, siblings Bill and Irene and great-grandson Jamie. Survived by her children Brian (Linda), Elaine, and Denise (John). Proud grandmother of Leona, Wendy (Gerry), Randy, Dana (Chris), Bradley, Steven, Brennan (Jennifer), Jennifer (Dennis), Alexandra, Adrian, Brynn (Trent), Valerie and Bradley. Cherished great-grandmother of 7. Family would like to express appreciation to all of the extremely caring and dedicated team at the Wenleigh LTC Residence.</div>
